Mov-Gis platform allows the management of medical records in physiotherapy, structured in six stages: examination, evaluation, diagnosis, prognosis, intervention and evaluation and results. As a contribution to the management of medical records, the stages of evaluation, intervention and evolution and results, have a range of motion (ROM) data capture module using the Imocap Gis motion capture system, to provide precision in initial measurement and follow-up to motor recovery therapy. Likewise, in the intervention stage, the therapist will be able to create a rehabilitation plan based on active video games and assign it to the patient so that he or she can execute the movements and motor recovery exercises in a motivating way.

The Imocap Gis system is required to capture data associated with movement both in ROM data capture and in interaction with the active video game. Imocap Gis is a non-invasive inertial and magnetic system for motion capture that adapts to the body by means of elastic bands fixed with velcro.

Sensor Location of the sensors on the patient's body *

(*) The number of sensors depends on the body segments involved in the rehabilitation therapy.

The main user of the MovGis platform is the physiotherapist in charge of the motor rehabilitation process of the patients, who is in charge of managing the clinical history. Likewise, other health professionals involved in the rehabilitation process will be able to consult the clinical history to be aware of the patient's evolution.

The MovGis platform has an exclusive module for the patient (and/or their caregiver), through which they can access and interact with the active video game assigned by their physiotherapist. For this interaction it is required: physically locate the Imocap system in the patient's body and then follow the instructions of the video game. Likewise, through the platform, the patient will be able to send messages to their physiotherapist in order to maintain fluid communication during the physiotherapy treatment.
