Mov-Gis platform allows the management of medical records in physiotherapy, structured in six stages: examination, evaluation, diagnosis, prognosis, intervention and evaluation and results. As a contribution to the management of medical records, the stages of evaluation, intervention and evolution and results, have a range of motion (ROM) data capture module using the Imocap Gis motion capture system, to provide precision in initial measurement and follow-up to motor recovery therapy. Likewise, in the intervention stage, the therapist will be able to create a rehabilitation plan based on active video games and assign it to the patient so that he or she can execute the movements and motor recovery exercises in a motivating way.
The Imocap Gis system is required to capture data associated with movement both in ROM data capture and in interaction with the active video game. Imocap Gis is a non-invasive inertial and magnetic system for motion capture that adapts to the body by means of elastic bands fixed with velcro.
